Quilter of the Month - November 2019.

Millie Speciale is our November Quilter of the month. We are looking forward to seeing her work. She was nominated by Donna Greene (confidentially!).

Millie: I was born and raised in the Bronx. I worked for the Social Security Administration for 28 years and was married to Jack for 52 years until his death this year. I love to learn or at least try different arts and crafts. I learned crocheting, knitting and embroidery from my mother at age 7. My first introduction to quilting came via TV. I joined VSQ in the early 1990's. I have tried quilting, weaving, basket weaving, making silk flowers, jewelry making, hooking and many other crafts. If it peaks my fancy, I will try it.
